"Chris always provided a positive outlook even when it was difficult to find the way forward. OHS is a newly registered SEBD independent school. As Head I required someone with a unique set of skills, highly skilled and knowledgeable in SEN, knew the process and procedures for Annual Reviews and knew how to develop individual programmes (from scratch) to support pupils based on file knowledge only. The work Chris did for me was invaluable to the school and crucial if as a school we were going to develop and support the pupils better than they had been previously.

I think these classes that I’m getting are the best classes I’ve been to. They help me to understand and memorise everything you have taught me. I have never been so happy about school and I love having one on one classes because it is so peaceful and helps me to concentrate and I like the way Christine helps me.

Christine was recommended to me by a friend in 2011 and I have used her services since then. I have two daughters aged 11 and 9 who often had some difficulties with certain subjects. From January to May 2012 my eldest daughter was targeted at school to be put forward for Level 6 SATs papers. I enjoy my lessons with Ms Parkes because they are very interesting and engaging as well as educational. I believe that Ms Parkes is a great teacher, as Ms Parkes clearly tells you what to do before an activity, which really boost your confidence. I would recommend these lessons to anyone of any age (under 18) because you'll find yourself having higher levels/grades as the weeks go by.

My English has improved greatly because my grades have gone up from a 5C to a 6B and I have enjoyed improving my work when it is not enough. I feel that my vocabulary has improved too because I can use a wider range of words.
The difference has made quite a big impact on my life as it has helped with other subjects such as History and Geography. It has also made me confident to put my hand up in class. I can speak loudly to the class and also add some of my own information.
The topics I have learnt are grammar spelling, punctuation and language devices which have helped me many times. The topics I have learnt helped me a lot because I would not have probably used the language and the structure of writing before because of not reading and studying the topics.
I have found that when Christine goes through the topic with me once, some of it sticks but then when we go over it again, it helps even more because then I would know how to do it by myself which is helpful to me in many ways.
If I had to recommend Christine to a friend I would say she is the best you will get and she will help you a lot to improve your grades and how you do your work. Christine would also be there if you want to talk to her about something and she gives great advice. She is very caring and cares a lot about all her students that she teaches and all of her students get higher grades which comes from her effort and time to teach us and that is why I would recommend Christine to you.

I would like you to know how delighted we have been with Christine. who has provided home tuition in Mathematics and English to my daughter from December 2015 to date. She went from D grade at the end of year 10 to getting a C in both her mocks GCSE.
